The City of London wanted a way to share its history by way of plaques across the city. It began over a decade ago with the story of Victoria Park, and today there are more than a dozen located in prominent places. These plaques are a form of interpretive signage that combine informative text with engaging visuals to help residents and visitors connect with the broader stories, cultural context, and heritage of London.
